EVENT DESCRIPTION
AQ Outdoors is proud to celebrate 25 years of serving the paddling community with a special anniversary weekend filled with all types of paddling, food, entertainment, and camaraderie. We invite our customers, partners, staff, and friends to join us in marking this important milestone. Over the course of the weekend, participants will enjoy a range of exciting activities designed to celebrate the spirit of adventure and community that has defined AQ Outdoors since the beginning.
EVENT ACTIVITIES
Paddling sessions for all
Explore the local waterways with informal group paddles suitable for all skill levels and paddling types. There will also be an informal boatercross race on Saturday. Details and a schedule will be posted closer to the event.
Live Music & Other Entertainment
Evening festivities will include live performances, a film night, and fireside gatherings designed to bring the paddling community together. We will also be bringing our full demo fleet, participants will be able to demo our full range of kayaks, SUPs, Packrafts, paddles, drysuits and more!
Camping, Saturday Dinner and Sunday Breakfast
Overnight camping is included for Friday and Saturday evening at the Canoe Meadows group campground. A BBQ dinner on Saturday and a pancake breakfast on Sunday are included as well.
Family-Friendly Activities
Programming will also include fun and educational activities for children and families, making this a welcoming event for all ages. Events include a youth water-off race on Sunday morning and a scavenger hunt on Saturday afternoon!
Raffle Prizes
Raffle prizes including a Werner Whitewater Paddle, an NRS PFD and more! Raffle tickets will be on sale throughout the weekend, and winners will be drawn Sunday Afternoon.

- $45 + GST for Adults (18 and up)
- $25 + GST for Youth (Ages 4 -17)
- Children 3 and under are free with Adult Entry
INCLUDES
- Camping at Canoe Meadows group site (Friday and Saturday night)
- AQ will have vehicles to help with shuttle over the weekend
- Informal volunteer-led paddling sessions for all levels will be held throughout the weekend
- Film night on Friday evening
- Demo Whitewater and Rec kayaks, SUP's, Packrafts, paddles and other gear available to try for free
- Boatercross race on Saturday, raffle prizes and more!
- Burger/BBQ Dinner on Saturday and a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday (Gluten Friendly and Vegetarian/Vegan options available, must be requested in advance during registration)
- Youth races, scavenger hunt and other family activities throughout the weekend

***This event takes place in Kananaskis Park and requires a Kananaskis Conservation Pass in addition to camping fees. The pass is available for each personal vehicle based on single days ($15/day), or an annual pass ($90). Please see the Alberta Parks Kananaskis conservation-pass website for more details and instructions for purchasing a pass.
