Level/Class:  Intermediate 2+

Description:  Put in at Lake Louise below the rapids on Friday, camp 6 kms beyond Castle Junction, at B01C. Stay two nights. Out on Sunday - options available.

Difficulties of Rapids:  Intermediate, Red Earth Rapids is a feature, corners, channels, logjams, a lot of scouting.

Expected Flow:  Normal

Duration:  Options available.

Equipment:  Required equipment by law (click here for Link) ,  Required by BWCC Helmet and Flotation, cold weather gear (dry suit, wet suit)

Shuttle:  Will be discussed with those signed up through Tina. 

Other Information:   A few members will be camping over Sunday night. You are welcome to join.

No need for a park pass right now. Cheap camping ($20 for the weekend!). We might put you to work as a parks canada volunteer cutting back female buffalo berry bushes around tents. Or play in the rapid at the campsite, bring a frisbee, etc. Johnston Canyon hike is also an option for the day in camp.
