Probably the best canoe camping trip in Alberta. This run gives you the option to miss all the waves if you so desire. We will plan to use a taxi company in Rocky for the shuttle on Thursday evening (about $25-$30). Thus, your vehicle will be in a secure compound while you are on the river, and save 3 hours of shuttling on the Monday. The first night is spent at the bridge West of Nordegg allowing for an early start on Friday morning, and more importantly getting ahead of the weekend crowd. The 3rd night is spent at Devil’s Elbow, and if you can afford to take the Monday off the 4th night also. This gives an entire day to either relax or play on the waves.
