A very enjoyable day. Weather was perfect, a little breeze, +29 celcius with light overcast so not baking.
As the water was higher than last year, much higher actually, we were able to paddle upstream to the large beaver dam which blocks inside the left channel. This is located about 15 minutes upstream of the walking bridge, paddle in main channel, then when it divides, stay left. Do not turn left directly after the bridge, it's not in the same place.

Many people out as we paddled further upstream. Found a nice resting space physical distance from others on river right. Chatted with Nonee (female kayaker) about BWCC. 2 postcards handed to her.

We left 12:40 (ish) from the Sailing Club and returned to the dock by 4:30. Peaceful day.
