In coordination with Rocky Mountain Paddling we offer lessons of all types to members and non-members, both individuals and families.

Kayak Camp
Open to all, parents do not need to be members!
For ages 11-13!
Canoe/Kayak is one of Canada’s top-performing Olympic sports, and most of all, kids love playing in kayaks on the lake. Who knows, maybe we will find some future Team Canada Paddlers.
Dates for 2022
- #1: June 27 – July 8 – No classes July 1 – 9:30-11:30
- #2: July 11 – July 22 – 9:30-11:30
- #3: July 25 – Aug 5 – No classes August 2 – 9:30-11:30
- #4: July 25 – July 29 – 12:30-4:30
*note there may be a local regatta every second Saturday* TBC and with COVID guidelines in place
ASRCA endorsed coaches are Certified in First Aid and CPR and with the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and CanoeKayak Canada (CKC).
Safety: Participants must have a Swim Level of Aquaquest 6 and or demonstrate equivalent (Canoe Kayak Canada Standard). PFDs are required at all times.
Canoe Camp
Sign your 12-17 yr old teens up for a fun canoe camp! This 1/2 day camp will teach paddlers how to paddle a tandem canoe on the lake and river. We will cover strokes, paddling in a straight line, eddy turns, ferries and rescue.
