This signature club trip is co-coordinated by Tina Barzo and John Gapp.

Solid intermediate paddling, often in the snow or at least colder temperatures!

Paddle three rivers in three days! (usually the Waterton, Belly and St. Mary’s)

Group car camping at rustic Belly River Campground.

Register below!

Here are some details and reminders to help you decide:

-the cost is $7 per unit (as in per tent / vehicle), per night, Tina will bring a logbook and a petty cash to give people change (please try to bring exact cash or a cheque)

-there is no cell phone service at the camp, we assume people will arrive Friday and leave Monday, but we will deal with last minute changes as they happen

-each day we will be ready to go from camp at 9:30am as in lined up in shuttle format at the campsite (we typically organize the plan the night before and do a check-in in the morning)

-people can arrive early on Friday but the key for opening up the shelter and woodshed and bathrooms will be picked up early to mid-afternoon from Parks Canada

-the cold weather, cold water and early season / intermediate skill level = higher risks, we strongly recommend dry suits (also bring layers, extra pair of boots etc)

-everyone must have their own national park pass in their vehicle

-everyone must stop at watercraft inspection station when you see the sign

-come self-sufficient to camp in the cold (extra layers and boots etc), there is a fully enclosed cook shelter with a woodstove and outdoor wood fire pit, so far no fire ban there, bring your own water!!!

-there is a lot of wildlife including bears in the area – be sure to practice leave no trace and bring bear spray!
