Enjoy the beautiful Canadian Shield Precambrian Rock shorelines, islands, drop and pool waterfalls, Class I/II rapids and excellent camping. Good trip for novice river and lake paddlers teamed with solid intermediate paddlers. Hike one km up to where Lac La Ronge flows into Iskwatikan Lake heading up the start of Nistowiak Falls at 10 meters/33’ on the Rapid River draining into Nistowiak Lake and the Churchill River. View the last remaining pictographs, Jim’s Fishing Camp and Twin Falls Lodge (a nice overnighter). Beautiful scenery!
