Expect 4-5 hours and 16km on the river. This reach will be Class II/II+ depending on the cms levels. Paddlers skill set is rated for strong intermediate skills requiring maneuvering, rock dodging, small ledges and perfecting your reading on the run river skills. Lunch spot at the broken ledge which we will scout and line, others may choose to run. Fun bouncy wave trains and surfing to be enjoyed with lots of room for picking your channels. Wood hazards may be possible after runoff. Swims will be cold necessitating that your personal safety is number one. Therefore, dry suits, wet suits are a highly recommended at this time of year, extra of change of clothing and warm fluids energy snacks. Good river boots for protection if you swim and need to get to shore. Floatation and helmets are strongly advised in the case of a river rescue and to help with boat retrieval.
